NATURAL HAWAIIAN KA'U COFFEE
Natural processed coffees are harvested and then dried fully intact as a whole fruit. What results is a deeply fruited, full-bodied, exotic coffee experience that often has a fuller body than its counterparts.
We recommend this natural process as an espresso with steamed milk or french press. With the addition of a little steamed milk, it's strawberry and chocolate milk for days!
Specialty-grade natural coffees are uncommon in Hawaii because they demand long term care and attention to detail. If the weather is cool or the coffee cherry takes too long to dry, the fruit sugars might ferment and taint the coffee; yet if it's dried too quickly, the brewed coffee may taste woody and the green coffee has a reduced shelf life. In dry countries like Africa, natural processed coffees are more common and less risky. But in Hawaii's moist climate they're costly, risky, and difficult to produce. Hence the relative rarity.

If you're dissatisfied with any of our coffees, please reach out to us at firstname.lastname@example.org within 7 days of receipt and we'll do our best to find the right coffee for you. Please note that we do not provide refunds or returns for perishable products.
If your coffees arrive damaged, please send a photo of the box in the condition you received it within 7 days to email@example.com. We'll send a replacement.
If you receive the wrong items, please contact us within 7 days of receipt and we'll gladly provide a replacement or credit. We may request you mail it back for inspection and assessment.

Very happy with this variety. Love the fruit forward taste. Has a subtle raspberry flavor.
Brewed with an aeropress. With this method, I mainly notice the butter and raspberry notes. Ultimately, the taste profile resembles a raspberry cheesecake in a cup.
Rich full-body coffee
Ka’u Cloud is one of the most delicious coffees I have ever had. If you like a dark roast with a rich and luxurious flavor this coffee is it. From the moment you open the package you can smell the wonderful chocolate and cherry aromas! I cannot say enough good about how wonderful this coffee is, a true delight!

I've been working in the coffee industry for so many years and until today I've never had a Hawaiian coffee that I've actually enjoyed. I've been searching actively for one this entire time truth be told. The Ka'u Cloud natural coffee from Big Island Coffee Roasters is legit the best coffee I've ever had from Hawaii. The coffee is smooth, clean, and tastes of pineapple, chocolate, and berries. I drink my coffee black via pour over or chemex so I really appreciate that this coffee was roasted lighter so I can taste these lovely natural notes. It's not every day you see a natural coffee from Hawaii so this really made my day. I'm hopeful I can find more amazing tasting coffees from Hawaii but this one will always be the very first one that I truly and genuinely loved.
