As an espresso, Hawaiian Harmony presents a silky crema, low acidity, and a balance between medium and medium-dark roast flavor profiles. While we originally created this 100% Hawaiian blend for espresso, it's become a popular choice for everyday drinking via filter, pour over and press pot, offering delightful notes of butterscotch, cocoa, nutmeg, and dried fruit, with a hint of whisky.
A decade ago, Hawaiian Harmony coffee was born as "Road 1 Espresso," paying tribute to our farm's location where the blend was crafted. The blend's popularity eventually surpassed the small lots from our farm, and so in 2016, we revamped it to include beautiful coffees from other farms and islands.
Crafted exclusively from 100% hand-harvested Big Island coffees — in the storied regions of Kaʻū and Kona — this medium-dark blend delivers a smooth, richly sweet, and deeply satisfying cup, no matter how you brew it.
In 2024, Coffee Review awarded Hawaiian Harmony an impressive 93 points, describing it as:
“Richly chocolaty, gently spice-toned… Dark chocolate, clove, almond butter, pink grapefruit zest, and date in aroma and small cup. Creamy-smooth mouthfeel; crisply chocolaty finish. In cappuccino format, the perfect drink for baked goods with loads of butter and baking spices.”
