Enigmatic, exclusive, unforgettable, phenomenal, "God in a cup". These have all been used to describe the elusive, sexy Geisha coffee variety, originally from the Gori Gesha Forest in Ethiopia and now grown in Kona.
Geisha coffee is a variety that originated in Ethiopia, renowned for the aromatic, complex, floral, and fruit-forward profile it produces. Because of the unusual flavor profile, rarity, production cost, an demand, Geisha coffees have become an aficionado's obsession. In 2019, a Panama Geisha coffee crushed the record for the highest price paid for coffee at auction, selling at $1029/lb green (unroasted), equating to $2522/lb roasted!
This award-winning Geisha coffee is grown in Kona and has earned Best Kona Coffee at the Kona Coffee Cultural Competition (2018), and Grand Champion at the Hawaii Coffee Association Cupping Competition (2018).
Beyond being hand-harvested and meticulously produced by the Stille family at their Monarch estate farm in Holualoa, it's also produced using sustainable farm practices and without harmful chemicals.
To cultivate Kona Geisha, the Stille family practices cover-cropping, composting, and interplanting to protect the ecosystem and attract butterflies, bees, and pollinators to their land.

Because Espresso Bites are made without stabilizers or preservatives, they may bloom or melt when shipping temperatures exceed 80 F. If this is a concern in your location please select FedEx shipping.
If you notice a white color to your bar, it's perfectly safe to eat. This happens when the cocoa butter softens and migrates to the surface. It happens more often when shipping in warm weather. Learn more about blooming.
Espresso Bites that melt or bloom when shipped via FedEx are eligible for a full refund or credit.
Espresso Bites that melt or bloom when the buyer elects Free Shipping or standard USPS are eligible for a credit.

Our Hawaiian coffees are roasted to order and milled in small batches. Each bag is date stamped, so you know when it was roasted.
What's so important about fresh roasted coffee?
The fresher the coffee, the more intensity you’ll get because great flavors and aromas fade over time.
The Best Kona Coffee Grown the Right Way
Producing the best Kona coffee is not something that’s done overnight, but it’s also something that doesn’t need to be done in a way that creates harm for the planet. We take our time planting and managing our crop so that it grows in a healthy and sustainable environment. That’s also how Geisha coffee is grown in its native Ethiopia, so why try to do anything differently?
Beyond being hand-harvested and meticulously produced by the Stille family at their Monarch estate farm in Holualoa, it's also produced using sustainable farm practices and without harmful chemicals. This is how we continue to produce the best Kona coffee, regardless of type. This is, in our mind, the only responsible way to grow crops, as the price we pay to industrialize the process is not only far too great for humanity and the planet to bear, but it also negatively affects the finished product.
To cultivate Kona Geisha, the Stille family practices cover-cropping, composting, and interplanting to protect the ecosystem and attract butterflies, bees, and pollinators to their land. The best Kona coffee is grown by putting every natural resource to work, and these creatures all handle their missions with aplomb. It’s a win-win if there ever was such a thing – the pollinators get to feast on nutrients that keep them going, and they leave behind the gift of Geisha coffee that continues to earn renown from anyone who tastes it.
We hope you’ll try what we are convinced is the best Kona coffee available.
