What you'll need:

  • Kettle
  • Scale
  • Burr Grinder
  • Coffee:
    • Coarse (25g)
    • Fine (1.5g)

Steps:

  1. Place 1.5g fine coffee (espresso-like) into aeropress
  2. Place 25g coarse coffee (sea-salt like) into aeropress
  3. Shake chamber to level coffee grounds
  4. Start timer & pour 150g hot water (184 deg F, 84 deg C) into aeropress
  5. Firm stir 10 times using paddle
  6. Twist cap and filter onto aeropress
  7. At 1:15 mark flip aeropress cap into cup
  8. Begin to press down, stop when you hear hissing. Aim for a 30 second press
  9. You should end up with about 115g of coffee
  10. Bypass/Dilute with hot water (about 80g)
  11. Stir well and enjoy!
