THE FINEST COFFEES OF KA'U
Each year we cup dozens of coffees from different farms in Ka'u spanning the three primary growing areas within Ka'u: Cloud's Rest, Wood Valley, and Pear Tree. We're looking for coffees with high levels of caramel-like sweetness, roasted nuts (often pecans or hazelnuts), and the brightness of ripe stone-fruit or citrus.
The best Ka'u coffees we taste combine to create our signature single origin Ka'u coffee. While their strengths are often different, they compliment each other nicely: bright, long and juicy fruit tones meet with a medium-full body and candied sweet finish.
We aim to source the highest quality Ka'u coffees available selected on the merits of quality year after year. By virtue of being one of Hawaii's few micro-mills we're able to keep our Ka'u coffee in the parchment state until it's ready to roast, meaning our selection remains fresh and retains great character throughout the year.

Because Espresso Bites are made without stabilizers or preservatives, they may bloom or melt when shipping temperatures exceed 80 F. If this is a concern in your location please select FedEx shipping.
If you notice a white color to your bar, it's perfectly safe to eat. This happens when the cocoa butter softens and migrates to the surface. It happens more often when shipping in warm weather. Learn more about blooming.
Espresso Bites that melt or bloom when shipped via FedEx are eligible for a full refund or credit.
Espresso Bites that melt or bloom when the buyer elects Free Shipping or standard USPS are eligible for a credit.
