INTOXICATING & UNUSUAL PEABERRY
“Rich, intense, sweetly and pungently citrusy. Melon, grapefruit, sandalwood, musk, caramel in aroma and cup. Round and pungently tart; the mouthfeel smooth and lightly syrupy. Sweet-toned, flavor-saturated finish.
This would be a striking and unusual coffee from anywhere in the world, but it is a particular surprise coming from Hawaii, where sweetness and balance are the positive norm rather than the startling aromatic originality of this Puna peaberry.”
- Coffee Review.
Kazumura Peaberry is a single-origin peaberry from our lush, forested estate in upper Puna. Rooted in lava rock, our coffee trees produce an exceptional peaberry crop with similar yet incredible & intensified characteristics to our Puna Kazumura estate crop. This coffee is roasted to a medium, though slightly darker than our PK estate, to showcase the sweet, syrupy notes of this peaberry coffee.

Because Espresso Bites are made without stabilizers or preservatives, they may bloom or melt when shipping temperatures exceed 80 F. If this is a concern in your location please select FedEx shipping.
If you notice a white color to your bar, it's perfectly safe to eat. This happens when the cocoa butter softens and migrates to the surface. It happens more often when shipping in warm weather. Learn more about blooming.
Espresso Bites that melt or bloom when shipped via FedEx are eligible for a full refund or credit.
Espresso Bites that melt or bloom when the buyer elects Free Shipping or standard USPS are eligible for a credit.

Seriously! I've smelled and tasted thousands of different coffees over the years. This is one of the best coffee's I've ever smelled and tasted. For me, the smell after being ground is amazing, that perfect coffee smell. The taste is very close to how it smells, which I've never really seen before. So smooth. delicious! My favorite Big Island Coffee Roasters coffee so far! Glad I was able to get more than one bag! I'm currently brewing using an areopress, about 15 grams of coffee to about 300 grams of water at 200 degrees. its the perfect coffee for me!
Nice coffee. If you like Kona Peaberry or Kona Geisha, you might like it. It is slightly more acidic.
To the moon and back with this coffee! One of our favorites! So aromatic when you open the bag, before the grind and brew! Kitchen always smells amazing when this brew is on☕
I usually hear this when showing up to a nice surf spot. Interesting to note, with zero reviews, the Puna Kazumura has sold out. Apparently, the secret is out. -I should have been here yesterday.
